The town of Medway was incorporated in 1713. It was first settled in 1700 by Henry Gamsey and is a beautiful residential suburb of Boston, comprised primarily of single-family residences.

The original economic base was the many saw and grist mills along with several textile industries.  Because of its river location, Medway´s continued growth evolved into an industrial center and with the railroad coming into the area in 1847, Medway began to attract many new mills. The Campbell Brothers paper mill was in operation from 1854 until 1890 and the Sanford Mills was established in 1885.

Medway is located just 25 miles southwest of Boston and with its proximity to 495, is readily accessible to the metropolitan area which offers a diversity of cultural activities.

Although the Medway real estate market consists primarily of single family residences, investment opportunities are available including condominiums, farms and ranches, waterfront properties along with an extensive selection of high quality new homes.  Vacation homes and country properties are available in the surrounding areas.
